Our Mission
Our mission is to be the leading golf application on the mobile platform. We pride ourselves on our commitment to the sport of golf. Inspired to bring the convenience of the caddy to every golfer, we want to make the golfing experience one where golfers need only focus on their stroke. Our aim is to deliver a product that compliments every round of golf.
General
- Are there any additional fees?
- No. There are no subscription fees, course download fees, or course request fees. The price of the app gives you full access to every course in our database at the touch of a finger. Domestic or international, all courses are included.
- Are future updates free?
- All future patches are completely free. This includes all minor updates. We are continually developing new features and improving design and we hope you will enjoy the work we put into keeping a good balance between features and ease of use. Major updates such as a new build from the ground up or major new features may cost a small fee.
- Will Viewti Golf and Viewti G users have the option to upgrade to Viewti Golf 2010?
- Yes. We have an in-app upgrade for Viewti Golf users for $8.99, we are developing the in-app upgrade for Viewti G. The upgrade plan will be released as soon as the development is completed.
- How much data does the application use on a typical round of golf?
- Downloading the course information takes up minimal bandwidth. Course images for a typical round of golf can take up to 2.5 mb.
- Will I be able to use the application on courses where I don't get reception?
- After starting the app and viewing the holes beforehand, you will no longer need reception to continue using the app.
- How is the battery life while using ViewTi?
- The app should last a full round on a full charge. You can preserve battery life by turning off Bluetooth, Push Notification, and Wi-Fi. We recommend getting an external battery for your phone such as the Kensington Mini Battery Extender from Amazon.
- Which phones works with ViewTi Golf 2010?
- ViewTi Golf 2010 will work on all iPhones. The GPS feature will only work on the 3G and 3GS iPhones because it requires a GPS enabled phone.
- Will ViewTi Golf 2010 be available on other phones?
- We currently only support the iPhone. We are planning development for other phones but do yet have a timeframe for when they will be available.
- Will I be able to use ViewTi Golf 2010 when I travel to another country?
- The application will work regardless of where you are. We suggest that you ask your service provider regarding possible data charges for using the internet while traveling.
Application
- Which courses do you have mapped?
- We have over 30,000 courses mapped worldwide. You can search for and preview aerial images of our courses from this site. You can request new courses from our site as well.
- Are all of your courses GPS and aerial images enabled?
- Yes, all of our courses are fully mapped and do not lack any features.
- Why is my course not on your application?
- Our images are the most current images provided by Google Maps. You can search for your course and let us know if the holes on your course are clearly visible and our team will map the course for you.
Support
- How do I add new courses?
- Simply email us the course information along with a copy of the scorecard and our team will add the course. Once added, the course will automatically appear in the app.
- How do I reinstall ViewTi Golf 2010?
- Tap and hold the ViewTi Golf 2010 icon. Tap the x to remove the application from your phone. Open the App Store and download the application again. Be sure that you are using the same iTunes account that the original purchase was made with. It will initially mention the price but will then say that you have already paid and can download the app for free.
